Kelly's is a sprawling bar and restaurant on the corner of Caroline and Whitehead Streets, made famous as being the birthplace of Pan-Am Airlines. There's a token display of Pan-Am memorabilia, and an upstairs cabaret appeared to be very popular when we visited.

If you're a fan of one of America's greatest writers, then you'll no doubt be interested in visiting his home towards the southern end of Whitehead Street.
Many artifacts of his life remain in the house, and the tradition of the six-toed cat common in Key West is said to have begun when a ship captain presented the writer with the first one.
If you're allergic to cats, stock up on your anti-histamines before visiting, the ground is still home to dozens of cats.
